Job Description: Business Agronomist
Location: Cut Knife & Lloydminster SK
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive

Veikle Agro Inc. is a growing independent agricultural retailer with locations in Cut Knife and Lloydminster. We provide crop inputs as well as custom application services to our producers.
Successful candidates will:
– Build relationships with growers through on farm visits and customer events
– Identify and support customers’ crop production needs, contributing to increased sales volume and profitability
– Conduct field diagnosis of crop issues including weeds, insects, disease and post application efficacy
– Inventory Management
– Load and deliver product when required
– Operation of equipment
– Work extended hours in peak seasons
Qualifications
– Valid class 5 driver’s license
– Degree in business, agriculture, environmental science or equivalent industry experience
– 3 years prior sales experience would be an asset
– Strong leadership, organizational, written and oral communication skills

– Possess general knowledge of crop inputs
– Support plot work in season
– Build relationships through customer events
– Be highly motivated and have the ability to work independently
Qualifications:
– Valid class 5 driver’s license
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Not required, but candidates who are in-process of acquiring a secondary education in agriculture, business or environmental science would be an asset
